What is orderTopia?

orderTopia is a new platform for mobile and online e-commerce.  We are literally moving the point of sale from the brick and mortar storefront to your iPhone, to your computer, and beyond.  orderTopia connects customers, restaurants, and retailers as never before.  In short, orderTopia is a software development company changing the way customers and merchants interact.

In addition to offering iPhone and laptop ordering, orderTopia offers seamless social media network integration.  Our Open API enables direct connections to social media networks such as Twitter and Facebook from inside orderTopia.  You could order a cheeseburger on your iPhone and have it show up on your Facebook status.  Order a pizza to pickup on the way home from work using Twitter hashtags.

orderTopia also has a built-in internal social network that lets you keep up with your friends, update your status, read reviews, and post recommendations (and photos and videos).  Upload your Facebook data via Facebook Connect.  And because of orderTopia's direct Open API, all of your information can be synced to update automatically across various sites.  You can receive direct promotions and discounts from merchants, and give friends gift certificates.

Who can use orderTopia?

orderTopia is for everyone.  All you need is an Internet connection.  Whether you use an iPhone or Smartphone, Laptop or Desktop, if you can connect to the Internet, you can access orderTopia.

We have designed orderTopia to be THE system for mobile ordering and online ordering, regardless of how you connect to the web.  For iPhone users we offer the free orderTopia app in the iTunes app store.  For other Smartphone users we offer mobile versions of our web ordering engine specifically designed for your Smartphone's touch screen.  For laptop and desktop users we offer free online ordering from your computer. Point, click, pay, and you're done.

orderTopia has three different types of users: customers who want to buy things, restaurants and retailers who want to sell things, and developers and marketers who want to make the shopping experience better for customers and merchants.

One of orderTopia's cooler features is our Open API for software developers and marketing companies.  If you want to build a widget or application so people can win a free pizza using your new Facebook quiz, you can do it.  If you want to run a marketing contest on Twitter, and give away free t-shirts to the winners, you can do it.  Our API and all the supporting documentation you need to create widgets and applications are available for free.  The only limit is your imagination.

Did we mention that it pays to build for orderTopia?  If you write an application or widget for orderTopia program that consumers can use to purchase food or retail items, once your program is officially approved by orderTopia, we'll give you a nickel (5¢) for every transaction over $5.  Now you actually will have a nickel for every time somebody uses your widget.  Product approval is a straightforward process.  We are simply trying to protect our customers from things such as pornography and phishing scams.
