About orderTopia

What is orderTopia?

orderTopia is a cloud-based point of sale (POS) software suite for restaurants and retailers.  We focus on mobile ordering, online ordering, and social media network services.

That's a mouthful!  But what does it mean?

The short version is that we are changing the way customers and merchants do business.  We are taking the old point of sale from the store to the Internet.  You used to order your cheeseburger at the restaurant.  You used to buy shirts at your favorite boutique.  Now you can order cheeseburgers, scarves, and more--from anywhere, anytime.  That's what orderTopia means.

orderTopia is co-founders Dan Epstein and Brian Williford, and our crack team of software engineers, technical support junkies, and social media ninjas.  You can see our friendly faces here.

Registration and Account Information

How do I sign up to use orderTopia?

User registration is on the orderTopia homepage.  There are three different types of user accounts: customer, merchant, and developer.

Can I change my username?

Once you have chosen your username, you cannot change it.  If you absolutely need to change your name, you can contact us about changing it.

I'm having trouble logging in.  What should I do?

Usernames and passwords are case sensitive, so the first thing you should do is make sure that your CAPS LOCK key is not secretly capitalizing your password.  If your CAPS LOCK key is not the problem, it is possible you are entering the wrong password.  If you can't remember your password, click on the link on the log in box, "Forgot your password?"  Enter your email address, and we will email you a new password, which you can then change.

I forgot my password.  How do I sign in?

If you forget your password, we can email you a new password.  There is a link on the log in page, where it says "Forgot your password?"  Click this link, and we can email you a new password, which you can then change. 

I forgot my username.  How do I sign in?

If you forget your username, we can email it to you.  There is a link on the log in page, where it says "Forgot your username?"  Click this link, enter your email address, and we will email you your username. 

How do I change my username / password / email address?

Once you choose your username, it cannot be changed.  You can change your password and email address in the profile area of your account.

How do I change my mailing or billing address?

You can change your mailing or billing address in the profile area of your account.

I never get any emails from orderTopia.  What can I do?

orderTopia sends two types of emails to users: order confirmation and orderTopia news emails.  The default setting for order confirmation emails is to receive them, meaning that if you have not changed your email settings you will receive an email receipt every time you make an order.  To receive news emails from orderTopia however, you need to "opt in."  You will not receive orderTopia news unless you sign up to.  Our news emails (which we do suggest you sign up for) will keep you posted on the latest restaurants and stores in the orderTopia network, the newest widgets and applications for orderTopia, as well as special deals and offerings.  You can subscribe (or unsubscribe) at any time.

If you are not receiving any emails from orderTopia, including order receipts, check your spam/junk mailbox.  Your spam filter might be intercepting them. 

How do I cancel my orderTopia account?

If you want to cancel your account, fill out the cancellation form, and your account will be disabled within 24 hours.
